Wilma “Gail” LaCroix, 68, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and compassion. Raised in Bogue Sound, North Carolina, Gail made North Myrtle Beach her home for over 30 years, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Gail cared deeply for those she loved and had a way of lifting the spirits of everyone around her. Her warmth filled every room, and her genuine heart made people feel seen, valued, and cared for.
She cherished the simple joys of life, from a good burger fresh off the grill to quiet evenings on the couch watching her favorite shows. When she wasn’t relaxing at home, Gail could often be found in the community, lending a helping hand to neighbors and locals in need. Her compassion and generosity made her a beloved part of the Grand Strand area.
Gail is survived by her son, Zach Taylor, her brothers, David LaCroix and Jody LaCroix, and many friends and family who will miss her dearly.
Her love, laughter, and caring spirit will live on in all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Mrs. Lacroix is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 294-0011.
