Timothy H. Cross

Timothy H. Cross (Tim), age 49, passed away suddenly in his home in Myrtle Beach on March 4, 2024. Tim was born on August 12, 1974, in Amsterdam, NY to Richard and Linda (Needham) Cross.

Tim was always an adventurer and lover of the sun, sand, and sea leading him to settle in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he was proud to call his home. He enjoyed a successful career in trucking for numerous years. Tim was fun-loving and a friend to many who will carry on his memory. His ability to tell a story and spice it up just enough that you were not sure exactly where the true story ended led to endless laughter and eye rolls from those around him. Despite his battles, Tim was an empathic soul who was always kind and willing to help and listen to others.

Tim is survived and missed by his family: his beloved son Dylan Cross, mother Linda N. Cross, brothers Nathan Cross and Jason (Chelleston) Cross, Sister Michal (Adam) Hovak, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Richard H. Cross.

Memorial services will be held both in Myrtle Beach and in New York at a later time as determined by his family. In place of flowers please consider a gift to his son Dylan to help cover expenses or to a charity of your choice. Gifts can be sent to 918 Pinner Place, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
