Thurman Blease Lee Jr.

Thurman Blease Lee Jr., 67, of South Carolina, was born on December 4, 1958, in Marion, South Carolina, to Ina Pearl Lee (Hardee) and Thurman Blease Lee.

Thurman was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Thurman proudly served in the National Guard for 12 years and devoted 49 years of his life to working at AVX. In his free time, Thurman enjoyed fishing, building things, and tending to his garden. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His strong work ethic, generous spirit, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Thurman is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cathy Lee (Larrimore); his son, Nicholas Lee; his daughter, Kimberly Siek (Michael Siek); and his three grandchildren, Nicholas Lee, Trevon Lee, and Carter Siek.

Thurman will be prepared for cremation at Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He leaves behind a lifetime of love, hard work, and memories that will be treasured by his family and friends. Thurman will be deeply missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
