Suzanne D. Bigelow

Suzanne leaves behind her husband, Donald A. Bigelow, with whom she celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July.

The couple recently moved from their longtime home in East Hartford, Connecticut, to South Carolina to be close to their beloved son David and his wife Lorie.  Susie enjoyed special times spent with Lorie’s children, Johnny and Michelle, along with her grandson, Tristian.

Enjoying the special bond of being neighbors for 36 years, Susie also leaves behind her sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Joe Zitani, of East Hartford, as well as her special nephews, Joey and Mike.

Susie’s kind heart and generous spirit always led her to lend a helping hand, no matter what the project.  A talented painter and accomplished quilter, she found pleasure in sharing her amazing artistic talents with friends and family.

Susie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
