Steven E. Rehm

Steven (Doc) Earnest Rehm was born May 17, 1953, and went to heaven on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after suffering from dementia. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 40 years, two sons, Steven D. Rehm and son Auggie, Parker L. Rehm (Emily) and their son Theo, and daughter Nicole Keys and her lovely daughter Sierra. His sisters: Steff Fitzpatrick, Teedee Rehm and Samantha Karr. Two special nieces, Kathleen and Marykate.

Doc was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Ernest D. and Thelma Rehm, and two sisters, Sandy and Shawn.

Doc and Nancy are members of Holy Lamb Lutheran Church, where he helped cook hot dogs for the fall festival at the church. He was a Scout Master for Troop 850 for many years and helped 19 scouts obtain their Eagle badge (including Steven and Parker). He made some wonderful friendships during this time, especially Doug W., Pete C., Gifford H., Grace W., and RIP David B. and Charles H.

Doc retired from the City of Myrtle Beach Public Works Department after 20+ years of

service. One of his proudest accomplishments was going with a crew of men to help with

Hurricane Katrina victims with their infrastructure recovery in Florida.

A celebration of life will be held at Holy Lamb Lutheran Church, Saturday, September 19th, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00. The service will be at 11:00 am with refreshments to follow.
