It is with heavy hearts that we announce Steven F. Pizzollo, 70, of South Carolina, previously Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord on March 7th. Steve was born on March 29, 1953 to John Pizzollo and Luise Pizzollo (nee Ziegler) in Philadelphia.
After graduating from Cardinal Doughtery in 1971, he went on to be an Assistant Manager at Shop n’ Bag, then proudly owned and operated a Mac Tool business before working in The Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office for over 25 years. Steve’s work ethic was unmatched. Steve loved to serve in local politics, pursuing that passion first, as a Township Supervisor in Lower Southampton, and later, as a Perkasie Borough Councilmember. Steve married Pamela Pizzollo (nee Smith) in 1985 and became the father to Tara Pizzollo. When Steve remarried in 2001 to Tracy Brown, he became the stepfather to Tara Cowley, Cory Sullivan, Brittany Yilmaz-Chambers and Adem Yilmaz.
In 2019, Steve met an amazing woman, Kathy Peoples, with whom he spent the last five years of his life. Through Kathy, Steve found and fell in love with Myrtle Beach, ultimately deciding to sell his home and relocate there in 2022 to retire with her. After a lifetime of working hard, Steve was finally able to enjoy the things he loved: cooking the best meals, sitting on the beach with his feet at the edge of the water and taking his Corvette out for drives on Sundays.
Steve was predeceased by his father, mother, brother-in-law, Stephen Dinerman, and first wife, Pamela. Steve is survived by his children Tara Pizzollo, Tara Cowley, Cory Sullivan, Brittany Yilmaz-Chambers and Adem Yilmaz. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Elisabeth (Pizzollo) Dinerman, her sons, Marc and Chad Dinerman, and his brother, John Pizzollo (married to Judy Pizzollo (nee Moody)), and their children, Jeannine Bowen and Jason Pizzollo.
Steve touched so many hearts through all phases of his life. It always felt like he knew someone everywhere he went. He loved teaching all of his children everything they needed to know to succeed in life. From building model rockets, teaching self-defense, and learning to drive his ginormous 88’ Lincoln Town Car to negotiating the best deals, working hard and making the tastiest dishes, he made it a point to share all life’s tips with them. He loved the strongest coffee, lots of pasta, a good flea market, antique cars and watching all the cooking shows! He had the gift of gab, could dance like no other and loved a healthy debate!
A celebration of his life will be held at 5PM on April 2 at Calvary Chapel Central Bucks located at 150 E Butler Ave, Chalfont, PA 18914. Dinner to follow the service.
