Starla Denise Cannon

Starla Denise Cannon, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on July 13, 1973, to Joseph G. and Darlene Cannon. 

Starla was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cannon, and M.E. and Nathan Causey

Left to carry on Starla’s memory are, her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle (Toni) Gray, her mother Darlene (Dan) Bowden, and her siblings, Tammy (Marcus) Bryant, Heather Cannon, Brooke (Tim) Thompson, Blaire (Derrick) Johnson, and Joey and Marco Cannon.  Grandfather, Lee Bowden, six nephews, Trenton, Hadyn, Aubrey, Evan, Preston, and Cooper, five nieces, Alyssa, Ashlynn, Mya, Kehlani, and Kimora, two great-nephews, Atlas and Theory, one great-niece, Emma Claire, her canine companion, JoJo, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors whom she loved like family.

Starla was an amazing artist who enjoyed Karaoke and when she went out and about, she was dressed to impress. She was a huge lover of Marilyn Monroe, but most importantly she loved the time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

To put it simply, Starla enjoyed life, and sharing her love for Jehovah with others. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

There will be a Celebration of Life at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, located at 3024 Holmestown Rd. Myrtle Beach, SC 29588, on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
