Sheila Diane Loehr, of Longs, SC, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 31st, 2024, at the age of 65. Sheila was born on August 24, 1959, to the late Priscilla Lee Vereen and Jimmy. She was shortly adopted by the late Max Lee Lavon Vereen. Sheila was a beautiful person inside and out.
Sheila was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Erica Diane Azzarella, whose memory remained a source of strength and inspiration to her throughout her life. She is survived by her loving daughter, Reagan Alexandra Walters, and her devoted husband, William Dustin Walters, along with their two sons, Camden Blake Walters and Lucas Grant Walters, who brought Sheila endless joy.
Sheila’s legacy of love continues through her granddaughter, Mariah Azzarella, and her great-grandchildren, Paisley and Hayes Fury, who were a constant delight in her later years. She is also lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Ashley Azzarella, whose presence enriched Sheila’s life.
Sheila is survived by her sisters, Donna Levon Bell and her son, Bobby Colt Bell; Traci Chapman; Terri Robertson; and her brother, Teddy Bell. Family meant everything to Sheila; her spirit lives on in those who knew and loved her.
Sheila will be remembered for her boundless love, her strength through life’s challenges, and her ability to light up a room with her warm smile. She left an enduring mark on her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sheila’s life will be celebrated on January 18th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at 96 Oak Leaf Dr., Longs, SC 29568. Friends and family are invited to gather in her memory to honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
