Ronnie Duncan, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on October 7, 2025.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his service, he built a life filled with laughter, hard work, and love. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ronnie was the heart of his family. He was a loving father who never missed a chance to be involved in his sons’ lives — even coaching their baseball teams and cheering them on every step of the way.
In his retirement, Ronnie settled in Myrtle Beach, where he truly found peace and happiness by the ocean. He cherished his days spent at the state park pier and loved visiting his favorite local spot, Dagwood’s. Those who knew Ronnie will always remember his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his gift for making others laugh. He never met a stranger and had a way of brightening any room he walked into.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Bonnie Duncan; his sons Bobby Duncan and Brian Carty; and his grandchildren Chase Carty, Isabella Duncan, and Crew Duncan, who brought him endless joy. Ronnie’s family and friends will forever cherish the countless memories, laughter, and love he shared with them.
Ronnie will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his humor, his heart, and the light he brought into every room.
Mr. Duncan is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 294-0011.
