Mr. Ronald Scott Solomon of Conway, SC was greeted into Heaven on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at age 67. He was a man of God who gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church located in Sumter, SC. Mr. Solomon is a graduate of the University of South Carolina having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and an alumni of Columbia Junior College’s Paralegal program upon his career shift. Early in his adulthood Mr. Solomon served our beautiful country in the United States Air Force. Before retirement Mr. Solomon also proudly held several positions with the VA Hospital, Department of Revenue, and Sumter County Department of Social Services.
Mr. Solomon was preceded to the next life by his parents, Martha S. Solomon, RN, Officer Albert C. Solomon, Grandparents Webster and Addie Walker Scott, and sister Dr. Sharon Solomon Cruz. Mr. Solomon leaves behind his wife Debra Riddick Solomon of Myrtle Beach, SC, Stepdaughter Rachel Briggs of Myrtle Beach, brother Marcus Solomon of Bishopville, SC and a host of other family members and friends who love and will miss him dearly. The family is receiving sympathy at 3000 Mercer Drive Conway, SC 29526. Private memorial will be held on September 9th, 2020 in Florence, SC.
Mr. Solomon is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
