Aug. 8, 2025, is the worst day of our life as we had to say goodbye to our Dad, Rodney Pittman. He was loved by many great friends and lots of family that will miss him immensely. He was one of a kind, that was very compassionate, thoughtful and would do anything he could for anyone and protect his family at any cost. He worked at Allied Chemical in Claymont, DE until his retirement before moving to N. Myrtle Beach in 1995. He loved his softball years with Lloyd's Market, Pyramid, Allied Chemical and several other teams in Del. County, PA. And his golfing he loved to do. He was the best father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and great friend we could ever ask for.
He was born June 21, 1940, in Morehead City, NC, and is predeceased by his mother, Amelia Frances Pittman, his Father, George Pittman, Sister, Anne Pittman.
He is survived by his Daughters, Rhonda (Ron) Duranto, Jody (Skeet) Masusock
Grandchildren Joanna (Matt), Phillip (Erica), Ronnie (Nikki), and his Great Grandchildren Ciarrah, Kaidyn, Phillip III, and Giuliana.
A celebration of his life will be held on 8-23-25 at 11:00 AM at Oscars 4101 17S N. Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
Mr. Pittman is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 294-0011
