Robert Vincent Simpkins

Robert "Bobby" Vincent Simpkins, age 50, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on August 22, 2024. Bobby devoted his life to serving God by uplifting others through his talents and kindness. He shared his passion for cooking, his infectious sense of humor, and his deep love of Jesus with everyone who crossed his path. Bobby was cherished by his family, friends, and the many members of his community. 

Born on December 4, 1973, in Princeton, New Jersey, Bobby graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1992. He went on to attend Francis Marion College and honorably served his country for eight years in the United States Marine Corps and Navy, where he earned the respect and admiration of his comrades. 

Bobby met his love, Amy, in August 2010, and they married on September 7, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife, Amy, and her children, Christian, Nicholas, Cassidy, and Brayden, all of whom he cherished as his own. 

He is also survived by his loving mother, Dottie, and his devoted sisters, June, Karen, and Kathryn, as well as his brother-in-law Hugh. Bobby leaves behind his dear cousin Carrie Ann, and his nieces and nephews: Brandon, Hayley, Cameron, Hughie, Lexi, Lauryn, and many more who were touched by his warmth and generosity. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Simpkins. While we mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Bobby has joined his father in Heaven. 

Bobby will be remembered for the love he gave and the lives he touched. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service with a viewing and military honors will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Lewis Crematory Chapel in Myrtle Beach, SC
