Robert Jesse Bauman

Robert Jesse Bauman, age 40, of Cameron, NC. passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Jesse was raised in Idaho and then later moved to Aiken, SC.  In 1999, he left to become a United States Marine to serve his country until his honorable discharge in 2007 as a Sergeant. 

Jesse is survived by his one and only love, his wife Tracy, daughter, Olivia, son, Sam, his mother and stepfather, Susan and Steve Haynes, his stepmother, Julie, his siblings, Stephanie, Alex, Nick, and Jim Haynes, Chelsea Brouse, and Crystal Clayton, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Also left to cherish his memory are his Godchildren; Keegan & Kowen Lawson, and Ciera Johnson, and his K-9 companion, Finn. 

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Sonny” Bauman, grandparents, Bob & Faye Reynolds, father-in-law, Houng Ting, and his Uncles, Rick & Barry Reynolds. 

When you think of Jesse, you are going to think about how much he loved working in his yard, doing wood working, hanging out with his family especially when he was playing basketball with his son, and just what an amazing guy he was.  He was the best husband and the best father.  He was an amazing Marine, and he was an inspiration to many of his fellow marines.  He was loved at work. 

Jesse would always say, “I love you to the third highway”, well Jesse, we will love you to the third highway!
