Patricia Bagley

Patricia Minn (Farr) Bagley, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 7, 2021 while residing at Myrtle Beach Estates, in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born November 4th, 1933, in Collinsville, Texas, to Barney B. Farr and Bertha Emma (Moncrief) Farr. She married Homer Glenn Bagley on July 17, 1953 at the Little Chapel in the Woods, Denton, TX, and he preceded her in death August 3, 2007.

Surviving are her two daughters, Gigi Colette (David) Spell, of Myrtle Beach, SC and Melodie Gay (Timothy) Baldwin of Stuart FL; grandson, Garrett Wade Farr of Stuart FL; and seven nephews.

Patricia’s mother, father, four brothers (B.B. Farr Jr, James Farr, Bill Farr, Tom Farr) and an infant son, Ronald Bagley preceded her in death.

Patricia and Homer lived in various states in the US and Alberta, Canada, but she always considered Texas her home. She graduated from Collinsville High School and continued on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Education from Abilene Christian College in Abilene, TX.

Patricia was a talented artist, and owned an art gallery in Dodge City, KS, where Homer proudly displayed and sold her art. She also enjoyed various types of crafts such as sewing, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed teaching children and extended her career as an educator by teaching bible classes to young children at church. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and served as church secretary while she lived in Dodge City, KS.

At the request of Patricia, no memorial service will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC. She will be cremated by Lewis Crematory, Myrtle Beach, SC. A private graveside service will be held in Collinsville, Texas at a future date
