Norman S. Wynne passed away on January 13th, 2025 in Myrtle Beach, SC where he resided for just that moment.
Norman was a true wanderer whose heart found its home behind the wheel, always eager to see where the open road would take him next. With the lively tunes of Jimmy Buffet filling the air, he thrived on adventure and treasured the friendships he forged along the way. Norman was a joy to be around and knew no strangers. He was kind. He had his way of seeing the world and lived life on his terms. Norman was proud of his children and proud to be their dad. He loved fruitcake. He loved the beach and loved to cruise the boulevard. He loved seafood at Judy Boones. He was a year-round Santa Claus to children. He loved his mama. He always found joy in the simple things.
Norman was born in Wilmington, NC on July 9, 1942, to Norman and Mildred Wynne. He leaves behind his loved ones: his children, Mark Wynne of Cummings, GA, and Sandra Chaffin of Greenville SC; his sister, Mary Fields of Myrtle Beach; and many grandchildren, nieces, family, and friends.
Those who knew Norman and his spirit will surely miss him.
Mr. Wynne is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home Staff of Myrtle Beach, SC.
