Noah J. Skipper died unexpectedly on January 29th, 2023, at the age of 13 at Grand Strand Medical Center. He was born January 15, 2010, in Myrtle Beach, SC, the son of Jeffrey Mark and Amy Joy (James) Skipper.
Noah was in the 7th grade at Forest Brook Middle School. He was an avid gamer and loved Playing Pokémon games, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, Fortnite, and Roblox with his friends and family. He is an alumnus of the Kings Kids program at Beach Family Worship Center where he met some of his closest friends.
He is predeceased by Paternal Grandfather’s Wendel F. Skipper and Douglas M. Morris. Surviving in addition to his parents are his Paternal Grandmother, Susie A. Morris of Conway, SC; his Maternal Grandparents Jerry J. James and wife Holly D. James of Machesney Park, IL; his Uncle Chris Edwards and Aunt Kristi Edwards of Conway, SC; Uncle Andy (Bud) James of Machesney Park IL; 1st Cousins Cody Edwards of Murrells Inlet, SC; Kady Edwards of Lake City, SC; and Chase Edwards or Conway, SC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4th at The Beach Family Worship Center, 133 Hwy. SC-707, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 followed by Fellowship at The Grande Shores Oceanfront Resort, 201 77th Ave., Myrtle Beach, SC 29572. A 2nd Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11th at Riverside Community Church followed by Fellowship on the Lower Level, 6816 N. Second St., Machesney Park, IL 61115. Those wishing to attend either Celebration are encouraged to wear Pokémon, Super Hero, Transformers, Chicago Bears/Cubs, and SC Gamecocks attire. These were Noah’s favorite things, and we wear these to honor and celebrate him.
