Mary Dorothy Magnusson

Mary Dorothy "Dot" Magnusson (Fey) of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Locust Valley and Huntington Station, N.Y., on April 3, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred.  Loving sister of Karen Saracco (Mike). She was cherished by her children Fred (Diane) and Eric (Simone). Adored Grandmother of James, Freddie (Danielle), Christopher (Jordan), Courtney (Tanner). Proud Great-grandmother to Alfred, Lucas, Eli, Maddie, and Liam. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as her best buddy Rosco who was always by her side. 

Dot's family and Catholic faith were the guiding forces in her life. Although we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing that there is great joy in heaven as she is reunited with the many friends and loved ones that have gone before her. We were blessed with her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, love of life, and enjoyment of everything and everyone in her life. She will be deeply missed, always be remembered, and will forever remain in our hearts. 

We would like to give a special thank you to all of those who cared for her from Agape Hospice especially "her girl" Ashley, Nurse Theresa, and Chaplain Bill.  We are forever grateful for the love and care that you gave her and for the comfort that you provided to her caregivers, son Fred, and daughter-in-law Diane.

Interment will be at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY, on Monday April, 15 at 1 P.M.
