Lloyd Crosby

Mr. Lloyd James (Jim) Crosby of Myrtle Beach, SC. passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at his residence.

Jim was born on April 13, 1941 in Ohio to the late Virginia and Albert Crosby.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved Grandson, Shaun.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Carole, his two sons, Stanley, and Billy (Lidia), his daughter, Ramona, his step-children, Renae (Steve), Jeff (Toni), Michelle (Brian), 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, his sister Brenda and niece Crystal.

Jim joined the Army at 17 and served our country for 25 years.  His love for his Country prompted him to continue working for the Department of Defense at Fitzsimmons AFB in Denver, CO.

Because of their love for the beach, Jim and Carole moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. upon retirement.  Jim loved walking the beach with his dog, appreciating one of God's masterpieces.  

Jim's faith was an essential part of his life.  He spent a lot of time reading the Bible and sharing his faith with others.

Jim will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
