Lauvhn Page Obituary

The world lost a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lauvhn “Bonnie” Shirley Siler Page on May 9, 2023.  Bonnie died in her home surrounded by her children, Betsy Page-Cadle, 57, and Virginia Page, 52.

Bonnie was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on June 7, 1934, to her loving parents, Catherine Andrea Johnston Siler, and Larren Ernest Siler.

Bonnie served in the United States Air Force from 1952–1958. She then worked at the Pentagon, where she met her husband Lonnie Lewis who preceded her in death on February 14, 2022. Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul and a very hard worker. One of her great passions was reading and the other was her dedication to her church. She was in the church choir for over 50 years. Bonnie is survived by both her daughters Betsy and Virginia as well as six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Grace McAndrew, 55, and three of her nephews twins Terry and Todd Shouse and Larry Harvey.

As per Bonnie’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.  But next time you find yourself in a bookstore, think of Bonnie and her passion for words, next time you have a glass of wine, make a toast in her memory for her true love of life, and next time you see a cardinal it may be her checking in on you.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Andrew Browning, Terry Page (Amanda), Cory Johnston (Sadie), Samantha Price Moore (Troy), and Asa McAndrew, and her great-grandchildren, Caiden Johnston, Cooper Johnston, Camreigh Johnston, Audrey Moore, and Sophia Page.

Bonnie is also survived by her sisters, Virginia Thompson, 93, and Joan Harvey, 87. She was proceeded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Shouse, and Patricia Siler.

Mrs. Page is entrusted to the care of Kelvin F. Lewis, Funeral Director, and Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services of Myrtle Beach, SC.
