Kennadi Kimberly Eagles, born on December 19, 2018, in Charleston, SC was called home on March 29, 2025 after succumbing to her lifelong battle with Timothy Syndrome.
Kennadi was one of a kind, always marching to the beat of her own drum. She wouldn’t hesitate to tell you what she feels. She loved spending every minute with her big sister Kaiyah and arguing with her favorite cousin Corban. She had a smile that could light up a room and the most contagious laugh. She recently started her first year of school at Forestbrook Elementary where she was able to enjoy making several new friends as well as touch the hearts of many of the teachers and staff. She truly adored going to school with her sister and her cousin.
She is predeceased by her great grandparents William and Joan McGinnelly, her grandmother aka NaNa Jo-Anne McGinnelly and her uncle Kenny Poland. Kennadi leaves behind her parents Stephanie McGinnelly and Chance Humes, Her beloved sisters Kaiyah Eagles and Emery Humes and her aunt Allison Poland (Dane) and her cousin Corban Poland. She also leaves behind many cherished family members including her great aunts Donna McGinnelly (Billy), Kelly Farley (Darren), Michelle Kirst (Zack, Ronan & Deacon), Kimberly Eagles (Harold) and family, as well as cousins Jennifer Brzoska (Ben, Jahsalyn, Keirra, Max & Chloe) and Joseph Brzoska. She also leaves behind her Nala Anne Humes and Trey Humes (Alyssa) and her cousin Riverlynn, her great-grandfather, Raymond Lee, and her grandparents Wayne, Crystal, Jordyn Humes and family.
Kennadi was a heart warrior and fought every day that she was with us. She overcame many obstacles during her short time in life that will hopefully lead to more insight into the rarity of Timothy Syndrome and the complications that can arise. Many of the staff at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital were in complete awe of her tenacity and bravery, especially her cardiologist Dr. Jackson. She will unquestionably leave a lifelong impact on our lives as well as the medical community. She brought together doctors from all over the world to work together and help her with her health. We also can’t thank Dr. Katherine Timothy enough as well as the Timothy Syndrome Support Group for always being there to help answer any questions and provide unconditional advice and guidance. If you would like to celebrate her life the details of the services will be posted on the Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services website. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Timothy Syndrome Alliance on their website Timothy Syndrome Alliance (TSA).
There will be a Celebration of Life at Our Lady Star of the Sea on April 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
Family will receive guests following service at the Grumpy Monk in Carolina Forest.
Princess Eagles is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC.
