Joseph Robert " Joe " Sonfinowski

Joseph Robert "Joe" Sofinowski, aged 34, passed away on October 7th, 2024 in Little River, South Carolina. He is survived by his father, Robert Sofinowski, his mother, Elaine Wallace, his brother, Jake Sofinowski, his sister Jenny Dioszeghy, his 3 children Kaylee, Serenity and Joseph Sofinowski, Jr. It was truly shocking and horrifying for all of us. Born on September 6, 1990, at Franklin Square Hospital, Joe's untimely departure is mourned by all who knew him. Further details regarding memorial services will be announced by the family. Joe was a sweet, cuddly little kid. One time we were at Annapolis Mall sitting out front of Hechts. He asked me if we should go in there. I asked why and he said because it was "HECK!" After that I called him my G-rated Joe. He went thru some family transitions as a child, and I know it was really hard for him. He met his wife, Kayla Rafferty in 2009. They had their three children quite young. I used to tell them it was good, because they'd have a lot of time together after their children had left the nest. Unfortunately, he had lost his wife just last year. Joe was a very passionate person with a strong work ethic. He would play with his kids, and always wanted for them to be happy. This has been a shock to family and friends. Joe was just actually about to start his own landscaping business. He was excited to be able to care of all his family needs, as well as perhaps handing it down to his children.
