Jill Lawson Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jill Marie Laney

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Jill Marie Laney, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, family member, and friend. Although her time with us was far too short, Jill leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, cherished memories, and countless lives touched by her caring heart.

Jill had a special love for the beach. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the peacefulness of the ocean brought her happiness and peace. She also loved to travel and experience new places, especially when those adventures could be shared with the people she loved. Jill knew how to have a good time and treasured the laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments she shared with family and friends.

Jill was a loving mother to Logan Hunt, her husband Will, and Brody Lawson. Whether she was playing video games, riding go-karts, or joining them in whatever adventure they were enjoying, Jill loved to make memories alongside her children. She never just watched from the sidelines—she got involved, laughed with them, and made their interests her own. Jill was also a proud grandmother to Warren, Laney, Karis, and Karu Hunt. Her children and grandchildren will miss her deeply.

Jill will be deeply missed by her loving mother, Connie Laney; her sister, Shelly Henderson; her husband, Phil; her nephews, Blake Henderson and Grant Henderson; and her loving and supportive partner, Todd Sullivan. Jill is preceded in death by her father, Lee Laney, and her fiancé, Phil Borders. She will also be forever loved and missed by her extended family and the many friends whose lives she touched.

Jill had an innate desire to take care of others and was the person people could turn to when they needed compassion, comfort, or a helping hand. That gift of caring became her life's work as a respiratory therapist. Through her career, Jill dedicated herself to helping others during some of the most difficult and vulnerable moments of their lives. Her compassion and commitment touched the lives of the patients she cared for and the families who depended on her.

She also had a tremendous love for animals. Her gentle spirit and nurturing heart made animals naturally drawn to her, and caring for them brought her genuine happiness.

Jill will be remembered for her caring heart, her love of the beach, her adventurous and free spirit, her love for animals, and the joy she found in spending time with family and friends. Her

life was a gift. Her memory is a treasure. Her love will remain forever.

The family will honor and celebrate Jill's life in a private gathering at a later time, where they will come together to remember her, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
