Jeremy A. “Jerry” Cadiere
August 14, 1974 – August 27, 2025
Jeremy A. “Jerry” Cadiere, born on August 14, 1974, in Houma, Louisiana, passed away on August 27, 2025, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, surrounded by his sons. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend whose warmth and spirit touched everyone he met.
Jerry was the proud father of two sons, Dakota and Dale, who were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them and took great pride in their accomplishments.
A lifelong fan of the New Orleans Saints, Jerry’s passion for football was more than just a pastime—it was a part of who he was. Whether cheering from the stands or watching from home, he wore his black and gold with pride.
He also had a deep love for cooking, especially seafood and Southern fare. His meals brought people together, and his kitchen was often filled with laughter, stories, and the comforting aroma of home-cooked food.
Jerry was a hard, dedicated worker who gave his all to everything he did. His work ethic and determination were admired by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sara K. Cadiere; his mother, Linda D. Harshman; and his father, Eugene A. Cadiere.
He is survived by his sons Dakota and Dale Cadiere; his sister Peggy Shea (Scott); his brothers Keith, Kenneth, twin brother Joey Cadiere (Jacey), and Christopher Harshman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jerry will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A very intimate private celebration of life service will be held in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been set up to assist Dakota and Dale with finding stability and care for the future and a brighter tomorrow.
