Jennie Rebecca McGee

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennie Rebecca McGee, age 50. Jennie passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, August 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with health challenges. Jennie was born in Columbia, SC September 23, 1974, a daughter of Virginia (Stephen) Sturgeon and the late Willie McGee. She had a gift for creativity. She loved crafts of all kinds and had a special talent for turning simple ideas into beautiful treasures. Her creative spirit will live on in the many pieces she made and in the hearts of those she touched. She also found peace and happiness at the beach, where the waves and sand brought her comfort. Her strength, warmth, and kindness will be remembered always. She faced her long health battle with courage and grace, never losing her love for family, laughter, and the little things that made life meaningful. She is survived by her devoted life partner, Bradley Warr, Surfside Beach, SC, who stood by her side through every joy and hardship; two beloved daughters, who were the light of her life, Alexis (Derek ) Glowe, Tallahassee, FL and Amber (Austin) Glowe, Florence, SC; Her greatest blessing yet to come, her first grandchild, Ellie; she also leaves behind her loving mother and stepfather listed above; one brother, Brian McGee; one sister, Letha Hall; stepbrother, Phillip McGee; Stepmother, Annette McGee; her faithful companions - her 3 furbabies, Roscoe, Dice & Missy who brought her comfort and joy; special friend & sister-n- law, Derry (Bill) Atkinson, Hartsville, SC. She was preceded in death by her father. A Private Celebration of her life will be held in Surfside Beach, SC.
