It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of Janice Caroline Beverly on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in Florence, South Carolina from a long, tough battle with COPD. She was born on February 23, 1955, in Withington, England. Janice was an "Air Force brat" growing up and moving around in her younger years. She attended most of her high school years in Selma, Alabama, where she made many lifelong friendships. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
"Jan" enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband, watching her grandchildren play guitar, violin, and dance ballet, sing in chorus, and simply spending time with them. She always said how proud she was that all of her children became wonderful, loving parents. She looked forward to the "Witches Walk" every year with family and friends every fall. Jan loved and longed to go home to England to see her family. Many friends were made in her ventures to Bingo. She will not be forgotten.
She is survived by: her loving husband M. Simon Beverly and children, Michelle (Jim) Zorgias, Patrick (Casey) Waites, J. Dawn (Chad) Waites, Brad (Dawn) Beverly, and Scotty (Erin) Beverly, along with thirteen amazing grandchildren: Nicholas Zorgias, Lindsey Zorgias, Porter (Bonnie) Waites, Walker Waites, Palmer Waites, Jaida Gut, Kellie Schroeder, Shelley (Josh) Bell, Lilly Beverly, Lacey Beverly ,Evangeline Beverly, Anola Beverly, Charlotte Foxworth.
