Hazel K. Hatchell

Hazel King Hatchell, 94, of Marion SC, passed away on Saturday February 7, 2026. She was the daughter of Austin and Ileen King.

Hazel enjoyed working as a nurse and after retirement volunteer work. Hazel loved talking with friends and family about simpler times.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Raymond Hatchell; daughter, Connie; brother, AB King.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Hatchell; son, Alan Hatchell; grandchildren, Krista Jordan, Jessie Covington, Samantha(Marvin) Jackson; great grandchildren, Gage(Hannah), Collin(Hailey) and Hadley and four great great grandsons; sister, Joyce Wallace.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mrs. Hatchell is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 294-0011.
