Gaye J. Stevens

Mr. Gaye Stevens, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the age of 81.  He left this world and stepped into heaven surrounded by love.

Born on December 7, 1944, in Potsdam, NY, he was known for his kind heart, helping others, and his great love for his family and the Lord.  As a father, he was loving, supportive, and protective.  He taught by example, showing what it meant to be a good person and to help others.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Harrelson (Legrande), Gayleen Renee Causey (Dennis), and a granddaughter, Brandi Harrelson.  He was predeceased by his father, Thelbert Gaye Stevens, his loving aunt who helped raise him, Elvie Stevens Burnette; and a brother, Donnie Stevens.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are thankful for the time God shared him with us.  His love and spirit will always continue to lead and guide us. He will be forever remembered and loved.

A private memorial service will be announced at a later time.
