Obituary
Frances Kay Phifer, age 75, of Gresham, SC, and formerly of Monroe, NC, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Frances was born on June 2, 1947, to the late Clarence Hudson Laney and Ercel Christine Mullis. Aside from her parents, Frances was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lynn Phifer, and her brother Donnie Laney.
Left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Dedee (Anthony) Covington of Monroe, NC, and her son, Bradley (Danielle) Phifer of Gresham, SC., her grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Joshua, Devin, Laura, Nicolette, and Olivia, her brothers, Jimmy and Mike Laney, her friend, Karen Aldridge, and many other family members.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at her residence located at 7025 Bud Dunham Road, Gresham, SC 29546. All family and friends are invited.
The family of Frances extends their sincerest appreciation and thanks for all of the care and support throughout this time.
Mrs. Phifer is entrusted to the care of Kelvin F. Lewis, Funeral Director, and Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services of Myrtle Beach, SC.
