Emma S. Cardarelli

Emma Sue Cardarelli passed away at home peacefully on May 31st, 2026. She was welcomed into the peace and eternal embrace of our Heavenly Father. She was a long time member of Socastee Methodist Church.

Her greatest joys were found in the simple and meaningful moments in life: gardening, cooking, and spending time with her seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She valued hard work and dedicated 42 years of her life as a waitress in Myrtle Beach.

Born in Lincolnton, NC, to Charles Leroy Johnson of Lincoln County and Maude Isabel Johnson of Caldwell County, she had 11 siblings. She is preceded in death by her late husband, John Cardarelli. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Christopher Stoffa of Myrtle Beach, Randall Scott Stoffa and wife Judy Stoffa of Myrtle Beach, and Charles Russell Stoffa and wife Toni Stoffa of Lincolnton, NC.

A private service will be held at Socastee Methodist Church with family.
