Douglas W. Williams

Douglas W Williams, 87 of Surfside Beach Sc, formerly of Needham MA passed away on November 27th.

He was born Aug 24th, 1934, in Malden MA son of the late Robert Williams and Mabel Maclean Williams Long-time resident of Needham, Doug owned Plastering Repairs for many years before moving to Surfside beach Sc in 1998.

Doug was the loving husband to the late Anita Contanelli for 53 years.

Brother of Blanche Roach of Westboro MA and Marilyn Roe of Wheaton Ill.

Father of Kelley A Pagliaro (Lou) of Surfside Beach and the late Douglas D and Raymond J Williams.  Grandfather of Louis A Pagliaro and great grandfather to Layton R Pagliaro and survived by many nieces and nephews.  Doug loved watching and participating in sports. Doug worked hard but played hard too.  He loved people and enjoyed cooking for the guys at various clubs over the years. Doug was a kind and peaceful man most happy sharing a story with friends and family. He lived a fulfilled happy life. A memorial service will be held in the spring in Needham where Doug will join Anita and his sons.
