Donovan Lee Boyd

Donovan Lee Boyd was born July 2, 1970, to Michael John Boyd Sr. and Donna Marie Boyd (nee Petty).  He entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 53, and was welcomed into Heaven's beauty by his earthly father, Michael.  

Donovan was the beloved son of Donna Boyd; dear father and father-in-law of Autumn Lauren Niemeyer-Boyd and Amber Marie (James) Choate; dearest grandfather to Adam 'AJ' Smith, Thomas 'TJ' Smith, Alaura Smith, James 'Jim' Choate, Nicholas Choate, and Harley-Quinn Choate; beloved brother and brother in law of Michael John 'Jay' Boyd Jr, and Tiffany (Neil) Pikuski; loving uncle of Carter Pikulski and Cal Pikulski; nephew, cousin, and friend to many.  

Donovan was a helper and a kind soul who never met a stranger. His greatest legacy is the love he gave his family.  Donovan was a simple, yet happy, man.  He loved fishing, and doing anything to help a neighbor, and he loved the time spent on his motorcycle riding around town. He had a servant's heart. He was a faithful member of The Arbor Church in Conway, SC. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  His laugh will be forever etched into our hearts and memories.

A celebration of Donovan's life will be held in April in Saint Ann, Missouri, his final resting place. A memorial service will also be held at The Arbor Church in Conway, SC for his loved ones in South Carolina.
