Diane Stone Latvis

It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Diane Stone Latvis of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Bristol, Connecticut, and Ashland, New Hampshire, announce her passing on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Diane was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Dr John C Latvis Jr., in October of 2023.  She is survived by their three children, Chuck (and Joy) Latvis of Rye, New Hampshire; Chris (and Diane) Latvis of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Miki Latvis of Bristol, Connecticut. Six grandchildren: Emily, Erick, Nicholas, Jaclyn Marie, Cody and Abigail Palmieri, and great-granddaughter Reese Joy (Emily). Diane was born and raised in New Hampshire (Keene and Swanzey).  

After marrying John, she spent years assisting her husband in his dental practice and raising their 3 children in Briston Connecticut. Diane was always very active.  She gave of her time to the Bristol community through volunteer work at Bristol Hospital, BARC, and the Lions Club.  Diane loved driving her silver VW Beetle convertible (the silver filling) to a good tennis match; she enjoyed long walks with John and one of their many dogs; spending time at their home in Ashland, New Hampshire; and, of course, a good hot dog.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, BARC, or the Bristol Lions Club.
