Debra Joy Derr

With loving arms of compassion, the Lewis Family is consoling the heartbroken loved ones of Mrs. Debra Joy Derr as they prepare to take a journey that no family wishes to take.

Debra worked at Phillips industry for 19 years. Over those years she has made some very close friends. Her kind heart made it easy for her to make many new friends, even after she moved to her dream place in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Her love for the beach was almost as equal as that of her family. 

Debra is proceeded in death by her mother and father  Charles  and Mary  Keeler. She is survived by her caring and loving husband Leon Derr of 32 years, as well as 2 sisters Pam Piccolo and Cheri Keeler, 5 children. Her son Bradly Keeler and his wife Denise, daughter Jamie Pankotai, son Barry Derr and his wife Janelle, son Michael Derr and his wife Yvonne, son James Derr and his wife Kristina. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  

In Debs spare time you could find her, shopping ,in the pool with friends, spending time with family, or facetiming her little "lovie", Laycie Auten.  

She fought a good battle until it was time for her to close the curtains of life on this earth with us and watch over her family as an angel on 12-21-22.

Mrs. Derr is entrusted to the care of Kelvin F. Lewis, Funeral Director, and Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services of Myrtle Beach, SC.
