Deborah (Debbie) Kay Brown, 63, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on June 19th, 2025. Debbie went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was reunited with family members that had preceded her in death, her husband, Michael Brown of Gray Court, SC, her loving mother, Patricia Irene Anthony Cooper, and father, John Wayne Cooper of Belmont, NC, her best friend and brother Daniel Cooper of Gray Court, SC. Debbie is survived by her son Zachary Brown of Belmont, NC and his fiancé Ashlee and their five-year-old daughter Nicolette, whom Debbie was most enamored with in this world, her brother Gerald (Jerry) Cooper and his spouse Leigh Anne of York, SC, her brother Bryan Cooper and his spouse Wendy of Hickory, NC, and by five nephews and one niece, and she was great aunt to two toddlers. Debbie was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on March 2nd, 1962, and grew up in Belmont, NC where she attended South Point High School and later attended Central Piedmont Community College. She was employed by Grand Strand Health. Debbie was affectionately known by family and friends as a big-hearted caregiver, who regularly put the needs of others before her own. She was a kind and gentle person who always had a compliment or a word of encouragement ready for anyone, friend, family, or stranger. Her positive spirit was her greatest attribute, Debbie never gave up hope, even at times when life around her was difficult. A wonderful mother and an exceptional grandmother, Debbie loved big, and she shared that love with all her family and friends, but especially, her son Zachary and his family. She was a close friend to Ashlee and a doting grandmother to Nicolette. They loved to travel and have fun with family. Debbie will be dearly missed by all the family and friends she left behind. A Memorial Service will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 on July 12th, 2025, at Ekklesia Christian Church, Hub Building, 2431 E Hwy 501, Conway 29526.
