David Wesley Sickelsmith

David Wesley Sickelsmith was born on December 8, 1956, in Rochester, PA, to Evelyn and Wesley Sickelsmith. Known for his infectious smile, Dave had a unique ability to connect with everyone he met. His passions included magic, fishing, yard sales, and poker, which he pursued with enthusiasm, traveling across the United States to perform his magic tricks for children and adults alike.

On April 10, 1993, David married the love of his life, Kaye, and together they built a beautiful family that he cherished deeply. He adored spending time with his children and grandchildren, showering them with love and laughter. David was the eldest of five siblings and is survived by his brothers Richard, Clarence (Crystal), Greg (Tia), sister Mary (Matt), and sister-in-law Joyce (Vic).

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Evelyn and Wesley, and his sister-in-law Connie. David leaves behind his wife, Kaye; children Karen, Davy, Cory (Nikki), Tiffany, Krista (Scott), and Tiffany; and numerous grandchildren, including Brittney, Briona (Brandon), Bentley, Alexia, Julien, Silas, Alexis, Andrew, Nevaeh, Loki, Isaiah, Cole, Maison, Shawn, Sabashton, and Nate. He is also survived by his great-grandbaby, Paxtyn, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and countless friends.

David will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Calling hours with a public viewing will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 2 PM - 4 PM at Lewis Crematory Chapel.
