Daniel K. Shelton

Daniel K. Shelton, age 75, passed away at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Friday, April 19, 2025. He was born on March 23, 1950, in Chatham, Virginia.  He was the son of the late Ernest and Rebecca Shelton.

Daniel Shelton is survived by his spouse, Al Godwin, of the residence.  He is also survived by his brothers Ernest Wayne Shelton (Jane), Edmond Thomas Shelton (Charlotte), Dennis James Shelton (Debbie), and Samuel Kent Shelton (Susan), as well as his sister Ellen Hawker (Johnny). He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Danny will be remembered for being a kind, loving individual who loved living at the beach.  He had a green thumb when it came to gardening.  He also loved dogs.

A memorial service to honor Daniel’s life will be held at a later date.
