Carol Ann Northstorm

Ms. Carol Ann Northstrom, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the McLeod Hospice House.  Ms. Carol was born on August 2, 1948 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the late Carol B. Gayheart and the late Mabel Vick.  Ms. Carol worked as a beautician for many years.  She was full of life, loved adventures, and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. 

Surviviors include her life partner of twenty-two years Alton Ray Childers from Longs, SC, her daughter Tiffany Northstrom also from Longs, SC, her son Chris Northstrom from Charleston, SC, her stepdaughter Raegan Long from Little River, SC, husband Chris Long, and granddaughter Kaya Long who referred to Ms. Carol as her “Bobba”.  She has one sister, Lana Fowler from Surfside, SC, husband Joe Fowler, one stepbrother, Paul Vick and one stepsister, Tonya Todd both from North Myrtle Beach, SC.  She also has one very special neighbor, Tara Mullins, husband Mark Mullins and daughter Abby Johnson.

Due to the concerns regarding the Coronavirus, and out of an abundance of caution, the family has elected to have a Celebration of Life for family and friends on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Buck Creek POA Clubhouse, 101 Forgotten Place, Longs, South Carolina 29568.

Mrs. Northstorm is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
