Carol Lin Markus passed unexpectedly on March 15th, 2023 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Carol was 63 years old.
Carol was born in New York and grew to be an outgoing, hardworking, and jovial person. Her smile was contagious and Carol was known to light up any room she entered. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, cooking for those she loved, relaxing on the beach with a great book, and exploring wherever/whenever she could.
Carol was predeceased by her mother Virginia. She is survived by her father David, and siblings Michael with his Wife Valerie, Michael and his fiancé Erin, and Josephine with her husband Renan. She leaves behind three children and their significant others; Stevie-Leigh and her husband Jason, Lindsay and her boyfriend Lowell, and Paige and her fiancé Zach. For the last year, she had found love with a man named Rolf, who gave her one of her happiest years yet. Along with numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Throughout her life, she lived in New York, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. Carol was known to be a friend to all, if she knew you, you were sure to love her. Her passion for cooking, lead to feeding many people and showing her love for them with their favorite dishes. You could always see Carol enjoying a trip to the beach whenever she had a free moment.
Carol will be greatly missed by her friends and family, many of which she met during her many decades working at Home Depot. There was no one quite like Carol, and her loss will be felt by all whose lives she touched.
