Obituary
Callie H. Hammond went to heaven to be with her mother, father, husband and great great grandson today August 31, 2013.
Callie was born on June 16, 1923 in New Boston, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by mother, Ethel Claypool Sherman, father Hayden Sherman, husband Elmer Grant Hammond and great great grandson Kevin Brody Beckham. She is survived by her daughter Mary King (Lawrence Ray), grandson Terry Jay Ashworth (Penny), April Ann Ashworth (Mark Smith). 4 granddaughters, Lindsay Kay Schultze (Ryan), Kirstie Elisse Beckham(David), Lauren Michelle Smith (Kyle Howering) all of Longs, SC and Heather Renee Alford (Tristan) of Colorado Springs, CO. 10 great great grand children Aspen Mayvis Clardy, Blakley Ann, Eloise Monroe Beckham, Harper Ann Schultze, Amelia Grace and Callie Ella Daniels, Nash William and Bennett Noah Howering, Juniper Grae and Maximilian Saige Alford.
As per her request there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers Callie asked for donation to be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
Mrs. Hammond is entrusted to the care of Kelvin F. Lewis, Funeral Director, and Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services of Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 294-0011.
