Brian R. Brosi
1945 – 2025
Brian R. Brosi, age 79, from Myrtle Beach SC, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Brian was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and man of deep faith whose presence will be profoundly missed.
Brian proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1991, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. Throughout his life, he remained dedicated to serving others, not only through his military service but through his everyday interactions.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sachiko Brosi; his daughter, Michele Vazquez; his son-in-law, Luis Vazquez; and his cherished granddaughters, Maya and Yuri Vazquez. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family, talking about God, enjoying the beach, and watching movies together.
One of Brian’s favorite ways to share his faith and encourage others was by handing out a small business card with a simple message: “Be happy. God loves you.” The card included his favorite Bible verse, Romans 12:2 –
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Brian’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering belief in God's love touched the lives of everyone he met. His legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in his honor.
Mr. Brosi is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC.
