Billy Gardner

Billy Gardner, age 80 of Conway, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 30, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. 

Billy J. Gardner was born on February 22, 1939 in Horry County, the son of William A. and Gussie Jordan Gardner; passed into eternal rest on August 30, 2019

Billy, is survived by his wife Phyllis, her children Shawn Pitman-Anderson (Michael), Joey Pitman (Leann); children of the heart Melanie Marinos & Jason Pridgen all of Horry County. The Mother of his children Constance Gardner and her children, Johnny, Tammy of Horry County, and Timothy (JoAnn), of Georgetown County.  His Daughter, Yvette Grace (Roy), of Simpsonville SC. and her Mother Marie Britt (Charles) of Horry County. His recently found daughter Theresa Anderson (Vaughn), of Fort Wayne Indiana.  His Brothers Gene Gardner of Horry County, and McRoy Gardner (Julia) of Lenoir, NC., special friends who were family, Mic & Flo Chipman and their children Alisha & Karl, numerous grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews and friends.

Billy, is predeceased by his parents, one son Rodney, one granddaughter Jessica, several brothers and a sister.

Billy, served his country in the U.S. Army, owned and operated Billy Gardner Tree Service for 30 plus years, prior to owning and operating the tree service he was employed with GTE for a number of years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Services will be private.

Mr. Gardner is entrusted to the care of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach, SC.
