Betty Cheryl Judd

Betty Cheryl Judd, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Myrtle Beach, SC.  She was 77 years old.

Born on July 18, 1947, at the Naval Base in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cheryl was the only child of Harry and Elizabeth Bach. She graduated from North Penn High School in 1965 and furthered her education at Lansdale School of Business and Gwynedd Mercy College.

Cheryl dedicated 44 years of her career to Merck Pharmaceutical Company, where she worked as a secretary/administrative assistant to numerous managers, directors, and vice presidents. Her professionalism and dedication to her job left a lasting impact on her colleagues.  She retired from Merck in 2002.

Cheryl found joy in many hobbies, including scrapbooking and photography, gardening, bowling, bird watching, and target shooting. Cheryl dearly loved animals and during her life had many loving pets. Her kind spirit and loving personality endeared her to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband Vince; her son Brett and his wife Crista, stepsons, Bryan and Brent; and her cherished grandchild Chase and Reagen. Cheryl’s family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in all their accomplishments.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nurses and staff at Indigo at Carolina Forest and Ardent Hospice and Palliative Care for their kind and loving care during her last months.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM at the Frassati Hub at 215 B Ronnie Ct., Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

Cheryl’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May her legacy of kindness and unconditional love bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
