Antonette (Toni) Lynn Kennard

Antonette L. Kennard (Toni), 51, of Myrtle Beach, SC, (formerly of Frederick, MD) passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. 

Born February 21, 1975, in Silver Spring, MD, she was the daughter of Frank E. James and the late Debra A. (Davis) James. 

Toni attended Glenelg High School. She worked as a preschool teacher at LaPetite Academy in Spring Ridge. 

Toni loved her family above all else. She had an incredible bond with her Aunt Betty, who was always there for her.  She also had a special relationship with her sister-in-law Jessica Kennard and mother-in -law Joyce Dwyer, so when they all moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, it was perfect because she loved the beach. She also loved turtles, the color green, a glass of wine, and, of course, Justin Timberlake!

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, John T. Kennard, Jr. (Tommy), the love of her life, her son Caleb J. Pullum, her whole world, her father Frank E. James, sister Jessica M. Kitzmiller (husband Tracey) and niece (Ashleigh) and nephew(Dustin).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra A. James, paternal grandparents Frank & Clara L. James, and maternal grandparents Archibald & Gertrude Anne Davis

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
