Anthony Wayne Stewart, Jr.

Anthony "Tony" Wayne Stewart Jr., 29, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on September 3, 2023. He was born on August 19, 1994, in Mooresville, NC, to Tony Stewart and Tammy Stewart. Tony, as he was fondly known, had a vibrant personality and a love for life.

Tony had a big heart for animals and was a loving son and brother. He enjoyed playing video games, swimming, and watching TV. He had a particular fondness for burgers and pancakes. Tony's generous nature extended to those around him, as he was always willing to share what he had. The beach and the ocean held a special place in his heart, and he cherished his yearly visits until his family moved to Myrtle Beach.

In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by his brother, Steven Stewart, and sister, Michelle Stewart. He also leaves behind his beloved animals Abby, Zeus, Tara, and Storm, his cat. Tony was a cherished uncle to Lily Stewart and had a close bond with his aunts, Kimberly Mitchell and Leighanne Whitlock, and uncles, Brad Mitchell and Derek Whitlock. He will be greatly missed by his cousins, Tommy Whitlock, Kyle Whitlock, Kyra Whitlock, Savannah Plott, Declan Mitchell, and Cameron Mitchell. Tony's grandparents, Edwin and Barbara Stewart, and his uncles, Johnny Stewart and Eddie Stewart, and their families also mourn his loss. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carole Wren, great-grandmother Harriette Sloop, and great-grandmother Bertie Stewart.

Tony's educational journey took place at Stewart Academy, where he was homeschooled for both his primary and high school education. He later pursued a career with Walmart as a Walmart Associate.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held at Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services LLC. on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the joy and love he brought to their lives.

In remembrance of Tony, his family kindly requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter or charity of your choice. The impact he had on the lives of both humans and animals will continue to be felt for years to come.

May Tony's vibrant spirit and loving nature live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
