Amantha ‘Mandy’ Faye Blackstock, age 49, of Loris, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 in Angel Hospice of the Lower Cape Fear of Whiteville, NC after a long battle with an illness. Mandy was a free spirit that kept every one of us on our toes from the day she entered this world until the night she left. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, friend, mother, and meme. Mandy loved to joke and laugh just as good as she loved to argue. She loved her family fiercely and even through her hardest battle, wanted to make sure she financially supported her family. She was a very large personality that will leave a massive void in our lives going forward.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Faye Blackstock (Antonio) of Green Sea, SC, her son Jaxon Paul Scott of Green Sea, SC, two grandchildren: Ember Faye Blackstock and Drake Rivers Blackstock, and one grandchild due in October, one sister April Phipps (Troy) of Green Sea, SC, maternal grandmother Ellen Allison of Fayetteville, NC, one uncle: Michael Willis of Fayetteville, NC, two aunts: Linda Prevatte (Buddy) and Brenda Culbreth of Fayetteville, NC, two nieces: Brittany Sarvis (Chris) of Green Sea, SC and Kira Seraphine (Nicky) of Surfside Beach, SC, and three nephews: Troy Phipps Jr. of Green Sea, SC, Lacy Alexander Blackstock of Green Sea, SC, and Abel Phipps of Green Sea,SC, two great-nieces: Harper and Salem Drew of Green Sea, SC, one great nephew Liam David Clark of Green Sea, SC, and many other extended family members and longtime friends.
She was preceded in death by her fiancé Gary Todd, sister Cassandra ‘Sandy’ Renee Blackstock, father Paul Elwood Blackstock Jr., son Chandler Scott, maternal grandfather Lacy Willis of Fayetteville, NC, paternal grandparents Paul and Odessa Blackstock of Fayetteville, NC, and paternal uncle David Blackstock of Fayetteville, NC.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers but is choosing a private remembrance at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider helping the family Mandy held so dear(https://gofund.me/5f05f5342).
Mandy loved her babies and wanted to make sure they were taken care of. She would want every penny that anyone was willing to donate to go to them. As soon as that is attached, this is ready to post.
Mrs. Blackstock is entrusted to Kelvin F. Lewis, the funeral director, and the Lewis Crematory & Funeral Home staff of Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 294-0011
